14 watt 225 LEDs plant grow light: can you make it blink slow, med and high?

I have a square led plant grow light like this one: https://www.amazon.com/LEDwholesalers-2501RD-Square-Light-Panel/dp/B001MYQHNM/ref=pd_sbs_lg_29

I'd like to hire someone to make this flash at adjustable rates. I'd love for it to have adjustable duty cycle too, but if that's too much work I'm ok with just being able to adjust the speed at which it blinks. Is it possible to do a plug with the controller on it, where I could plug my light into it and plug the controller into the wall? I bought one like this (called an outlet flasher, for Christmas lights) but it cut the brightness by half. Can't have that!

Any takers/ ideas?

Thanks,
Christine

I think you should open it up, isolate the power output to the LED's and place a flashing circuit between it, via a relay. Shouldn't be difficult

A solid-state relay might work; but don't use a mechanical relay --- the noise is very irritating :).

If you use such a relay you would still need to have a circuit to drive the relay and the relay type would depend on the circuit used. So there is unlikely to be a simple plug and play solution. If your electrical knowledge/experience is limited then building a circuit to flash the light may be beyond your ability?

Amen! That's why I really would like to hire someone to do this. Is there anyone out there who would take on this "simple" project? I mean, I might end up burning my house down if I were to try it on my own. {grimace}

just a sugestion but send a PM to atomsoft he is in the states and has a online shop and loves to dable. he could easily make you a controller with a microcontroller in it that would do anything you like. he is a realy helpful guy and i am sure if you offered to pay him he would be more than happy to help.

Since you want to get someone to do it then that is the best route, else, it could've been fun:)
yes that is true but with somone like jason (atomsoft) doing the project then the OP will get everything they want at a good price and in a short time frame, otherwise it could be a long hard slog that costs money :D

@Ghostman, thank you! Just what I was looking for. @BioniC I'm always up for a challenge but my husband doesn't find blown fuses as amusing as me! I have a soldering iron and some wire cutters, and that's just downright dangerous in an esthetician's (facialist- really!) hands.

we can discuss my fee later LOL :p

your welcome Jason it just sounded like something that would interest you!

Instead of relays, you may want to interface Darlington transistors or MOSFETs for the high current present.
I built four LED name-in-lights boards over 20 years ago, and don't know if any survived all these years.
