If he figures out how to get the right answer out of it, he can apply for a job as an "Ai engineer" or "machine learning engineer". Lots of companies are hiring people who can pose questions that are accurately phrased to yield value-added results. I don't see a problem with people (even students) using every tool available to them (including Internet forums and Ai).

I think it's comical when they reach their level of incompetence and they don't realize it, but that was also true long before the internet.

What I find disturbing is the volume of engineers, from certain far off lands, that are taught by idiots.

It seems like there are an abundant amount of electrical engineers that managed to scrape though the course with very little knowledge at all. Even here in blighty the pass on a degree is 40%.. Bluddy hell! That means they don't know 60%..
