Title says it all, I need a 240-36V Transformer but I can't find one, maplins has 240-18V Transformer, how do I connect them up to give a 36V Output

Thanks in advance

hi,
You connect the two primaries [240v windings] in parallel and the the secondary windings in series.
The CT is the junction of the two secondary windings.

Do you have a picture of the transformer to post.??

They have twin secondaries which can be connected in series to give you 36V, so you only need one transformer.

What VA rating do you need?

Are you aware that the rectified voltage across a capacitor connected to a 36V transformer will be 50V?

There are better places to buy transformers than Maplin you know.

Then you need N32CF, which has twin 15V 5A secondaries.
