Hi,

I have an electrical jigsaw which I bought in USA.

It needs 6.5A, 120V, but my wall socket gives 220V.

Would it be to complicated to build a transformer for it (up to 200$) or should I buy a new one?

Thanks.

That looks good, thanks.

Just for general knowledge, is it complicated to build one of these?

No, you buy a transformer and put it in a box - winding your own wouldn't be easy, and would be fraught with problems.

hm 120/220 v transformer is there a pic that runs on 120 volts folks ?

(mening this is not exactly the right forum)

I'm not sure what you mean.

These transfomers already have a case and a circuit breaker so you don't need a fuse, just plug it in and away you go!
