30 mins timer using 555

Hi, can you help me how can i make a 30 mins duration using LM555CN ic.
I need 30mins before my relay to activate. I am using 9v supply and a 6v relay.
What parts i need?
I want to test it first in my bread board.
Thanks in advance..

the 555 is good for up to 2 minutes
use a CD4060 and you can set them from seconds to days
I must have somewhere a schematic

I will look for you

see the circled area in this schematic

the time is adjustible by the potentiometer

you can play with different capacitors values to have a different time frame

get also a data scheet from the 4060 so you have more info of the outputs and other parameters of this IC

it does work I built this my self other parts of this circuit is not perfect and did already made som mods but didn't have time to put everything in the schematic yet

Sorry
can not up load the file will try it tomorow again or maybe an other member has a schematic for this
