A specific frequency cut circuit.

My first logic was to use a linear band pass (high pass connected to low pass) connected to an amplifier that has 1/10 amplification but it doesn't work for some reason, even in ideal situations.

Any ideas how I can make a freq. cut, either with my main idea of using bandpass with an amp, or something else?
