About make an audio power amplifier.

In my local, buy original Tesla (now JJ) and precision Russian military valves are much much more easier than buy old Motorola 2N3055H or Signetics NE5532. But valves are more expensive, require many clumsy things. And I don't like valve as solid state.

I have a question: The orange RCA jack with "COAX" labelled is digital audio output? Is it an I2S ouput? (It is on the back of my DVD/MPEG4 player).
