G gezzuzz New Member Feb 3, 2005 #1 im looking for a adjustable voltage regulator input would be 12v from a car battery so it may range from 10-14v would have to be adjustable output with min ranges 4.5v-0.5v easy to turn knob that you can turn with you fingers would be nice too i don't know how to look for parts like this im a programmer not a engineer. thanks in advance

T Teletech New Member Feb 19, 2005 #5 The lm338k is 8 amp and the ips338av is the same except it is in a TO-3 case. They are both real nice. I usually just use the lm317t, but it is only 1.5 amps and you say you want 10 (which is hard to believe).
