Dear All,

We are using bq2060a for one of our battery operated device. We face a critical issue with the gas gauge.
When the device is off , the load current is around 700 uA. But the Remaining capacity() is decreasing at a rate of 7 mAh. What could be the likely reason?
We have put a sense resistor of 100 milli ohm. The DMF threshold is set as 50 uV. Please leave your mail id incase if you have faced the issue before. I will contact you personally.

THanks,
Datta

According to the bq2060a data sheet its maximum supply current is 235uA so you must have something else connected that is drawing the 7mA.

Have you measured the battery current directly?
