Any justification to have FCC without UL?

If i'm to sell a product in Europe i need to have CE certificate.
If i'm to sell a product in USA, i need to get FCC and UL certificates.

Any justification to have only CE and FCC if i cant afford applying to UL?

If i cant afford UL (and therefore wont approach the USA market), i'm thinking on going only for CE, without FCC, but was wondering if its the right thing to do.

Would it be enough to buy a UL approved power supply?
