I have some 8051 micros with built in Lin transceivers, I havnt used it before and just wondered what people thought of it, pros and cons kind of thing from those who have actually USED it.

It is mostly like UART or RS232 coding. If you have done that, then this should be easy. Mainly you have to implement like state diagram.
