Hi there,

I am wondering if any professional auto electrician can recommend any courses (online ) which helps me understand modern vehicle's electronic?

I don't know of any courses, but watching all youtube videos by "Pine hollow auto diagnostics" will take you well through most parts; that guy specialises in vehicle electronic faults & explains everything he does.

"Basic vehicle electronics" like ignition modules? Or "infotainment systems" or like the LIN bus (or CAN bus controlling all the communications of lighting, sensors, HMI, etc? Which part of the car are you interested in?

Note that some require factory software and laptop (or custom computer). Some require factory diagnostic equipment available only to dealers (or authorized service centers).

I know you can get an OBD2 adapter for little cash and an App.. Plenty of Youtube hits for picking the best.

I had a cheap one to keep an eye on oil pressure a while back on my sons mazda.. it was £8 for the OBD2 link.

But as others have said.. Many books out there.. Loads of self help videos for nearly anything you need.

I grew up with Chilton’s model-specific bible from the library for my ‘63 MGB to fix anything including the Lucas 3-way switches.

On-off and maybe
