Automatic battery switching

Hi. I'm fairly new To electronics but am working on a solar powered battery pack fou chafing cell phones and similar USB 5v devices. My setup is using off the shelf solar panels, a lipoly battery and charger and a minty boost. The batteries I am using are rated at 6Ah. I want to increase the stored power available so originally assumed I could wire two batteries in parallel. I have since found out that lipoly batteries need to be balanced sets and my plan won't work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can usually parallel LiPo batteries. You have to make sure that they are charged to the same voltage before you connect them.
