Automatically Varying Voltage Power Supply

i need a automatically varying voltage power supply which varies from 0-30V by 0.1V step.....should i use a adc and micro controller or can i use an adjustable voltage regulator and vary the resistance....if i have to use only the adc and microcontroller...then what ic and µc should i use...and what is the program i should feed into the µc.... please help ... very urgent

Probably. A plain old LM317 will work in that range. What's your application?
