hi all
can anyone please tell me some gud source to get started in c programming in avr microcontrollers. i am a beginner in microcontrollers with a bit of knowledge about general electronics.

I used WinAVR for working with AVR microcontroller. For tutorials and codes see

Hi,
There is an easy to read book, and AVR butterfly kit here. You can read the first two chapters free, to decide if you like it enough to purchase. The butterfly seems like a very good deal: less than $20!
