Basketball circuit

I'm trying to build a circuit for a basketball hoop, to count up to 98, by two's and reset.

What you need is an LCD screen with a counter and a simple flick switch (or optic switch, whatever you feel like). Google should give you a lot on counters.

I think what people are getting at, is put some work into it then ask for help and people might be more willing to help you. No one wants to do your project for you.
