hi just buy a 18 gauge wire about 200 feet. take a plastic pipe 0.5" diameter. take a nail and make it red hot and stuck it through the pipe. keeping the length 5cm stuck another nail like this ;;;;1;;;;;;;;;;1;;;;;; (just omit the commas. wind about 60 feet wire for 1000uh and 45feet wire for 500uh. it would be multilayered. keep direction of winding as layer 1 a-> layer 2 b->a. thats it.
