H haxzor6999 New Member Jun 10, 2011 #1 Hi just wondering what parts i need? 2x 9v Batteries (square type) = 18v then step voltage down to 12v and 5v (Yellow, Red PC Molex Wires) Someone did mention using a 5v and a 12v regulator would do the trick? Anyways i was informed this was the best place to ask I need this to test certain pc drives, not run them for along time e.g. burning disks But it must be portable and battery powerd This is what i need: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZfgP_wnFo4 A diagram or pic would be great Thx in advance! House0Fwax Member Jun 11, 2011 #3 Have a look at this video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSzVs7_aW-Y Then have a look on Google for 7805 and 7812 regulator circuits. I doubt 2 x 9v batteries will last for long though.
