Battery Replacement for Beard Trimmer Moser Neo

They are standard AA sized NiMh batteries, exact ones here if you need a lot:


The connections are up to you though, for repair purposes you could remove the existing connections and spot-weld or solder them to the new cells.

The connection across the bottom appears to be a resettable fuse, and again should be swapped over.

I would imagine possibly as a spare part from the beard trimmer manufacturer?, I wouldn't imagine it's a standard fitting, and is something they custom make. The link I posted above is to a company who assembles custom batteries for manufacturers etc, but obviously they don't do so in small quantities.

is there a site where I can see how to solder these in? also at one end of the batteries is a hook, are they easy to take off and insert into the new batteries?

They are spot welded on, you can gently prise them off, file them flat, and then solder them (or spot weld) back to the new batteries. We used to solder such batteries at work, until I ordered a small spot welding machine - if soldering them, then make sure the ends of the battery are clean, use abrasive paper to clean them up, and then tin the battery ends before soldering the terminals, and fuse, to them. If you've got some liquid or paste flux, applying that to the ends helps as well.

Try and put as little heat in the batteries as you can, use a hot iron (with a decent size bit) for a short time, rather than a cooler iron that needs applying for a lot longer.

Thanks for the feedback, I can't spot weld them and tried to solder them, . and got the bottom plate soldered to each other but unfortunately the tabs with hooks in the 2nd image broke off, these tabs plug into the beard trimmers circuit(first image), any idea where I can purchase such connectors from, searched through a lot of sites but couldn't find these as the spare parts available,
