Bluetooth question

Hi

Somebody suggested I look at Bluetooth rather than ethernet for a project I'm trying to do. However, after having a look around, I'm finding it even harder to come up with information about Bluetooth devices than I did about ethernet!

Do any manufacturers make a Bluetooth module with a microcontroller in the same package, (much like the PIC18F97J60 is an ethernet module with a controller in it)?

I notice there are quite a few cheap Bluetooth devices floating around these days. Does anybody know of any good web sites that might explain how to interface them with a microcontroller?
