Breadboard plastic

I've wondered this for a while now, but have yet to figure out what it is.

Does anyone know the type of plastic a common white breadboard is made out of? I'm guessing either Nylon or ABS.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks.

Global Specialties indicates theirs are made from "high impact polystyrene".

... with a slight difference: one stinks more than the other. I'm not bothered about that since I can't smell from birth.

Friends used to say: "That's a big handicap", but driving cross country when farmers spray cow p.. over their fields I'm in a favourable position.

Funny you should mention that, I don't have a sense of smell either!
