It's something in between 70-75mA of constant charge current. I've used LM317 with a peak charge indicator. After exactly 10Hrs The battery pack gets slightly temperature raised I can feel on touch.
Ni-Cad cells actually get cooler as they are charging then their temperature rises when they are fully charged. Sometimes I charge two Ni-Cad and two Ni-MH cells in the same charger and I can feel that the Ni-Cads are cooler. They all get fairly warm when overcharging at 1/10th their mAhr rating.
