I don't think you're paying attention? - micro-controllers probably don't have the required resources available.

You might perhaps try something like the dsPIC's?, PIC's with DSP capabilities.

Lack of speed, lack of memory, lack of hardware floating point capability.

You might try searching the forums for speech recognition, these questions are asked every few months by students who elect to do a project with no idea of what it entails!.

No disrespect, but they all seem to come from India/Pakistan, and to be using the ancient 8051 type processors as well!.
