Hi members,
if i am right so, process migration is when process moves from one computer to another. This creates data inconsistency in cache. But i am unable to understand how it causes that inconsistency in cache. Can anybody explain with relevant example

I might be wrong, but it seems simple. A process will be using a resource, like memory. The processor's cache will contain a local copy of a portion of the memory. When the process is moved to a different processor, that cache might have old data, not what was updated on the original processor. Anyway, that's just a guess on my part. I'm not an expert.
