can't program 16f628a.

hi all, having a problem programming with winpic 800 and jdm2 programmer. funny thing, the first time i programmed the 628a, it worked. i changed the hex code and attempted to program the new into the pic. (winpic 800 v3.63c) and keep getting the following: failed to install-wp800io.sys. what all does this mean? what do i need to do to fix? i also have a 16pro40 clone that i can use. would that work with the same software(winpic 800)? thanks for any help. pete g.

Try erasing it first with the Oshonsoft program.

The 16PRO40 works very well with Nigel's WinPicProg
