I'm been searching for a capacitor with value 1UF, 400V polarised and non polarised type, with frequency of 100KHz to 300Khz.
But till now, still unable to get the capacitor.
Is there any one who can help me?
Some datasheet for the capacitor does not state the frequency?
How do i go about looking for the frequency?
Pls advise.
Thanks so much.
Capacitors are not rated in frequecy. They are rated by volts and capacity capacity in some part of farad, like uF(microfarad),nF(nanofarad), pF(picofard),and F(farad).
The Mouser Electronics catalogue lists lots of 1uF capacitors. www.Mouser.com.
If you tell us the application maybe we can be of more help.
The frequency limitations of capacitors usually depends on the lead inductance and the internal inductance. That should not be a factor at 300kHz, so look for the parameters that are important to you, size, cost, etc. 1uF, 400V could be aluminium electrolytic or plastic insulation. These 1uF caps from Mouser may be what you are looking for: 5989-400V1.0 and 647-UVR2G010MPA. www.mouser.com

As has already been said, capacitors generally don't have frequency ratings - if you mentioned what you are trying to do perhaps we could advise further.
