Hero999 Banned Mar 26, 2009 #2 What do you mean by rating? It's rated to 100kVAR at 575V 60Hz. If you want the capacitance then it's more sensible to calculate it. If it will take 100kVAR at 575V (I assume this is the RMS AC rating, not peak). Xc = V²/kVAR C = 1/(2πFXc)
