capasitor time constant detecting

hi, I want to design a circuit for "capasitor time costant" detecting. what is best adea for this application.

Is this RC circuit isolated from any other circuitry? Do you know the configuration of the RC circuit?

We need some context as to what you are trying to do.

Doesn't seem to have been a very active day here. So before calling it quits, it is not clear to me whether the OP wants to characterize a capacitor's inherent LCR characteristics or wants to characterize a circuit in which the capacitors inane characteristics are be insignificant.
