Car Water Temperature Gauge

I think at this point I would pull the instrument cluster out and inspect the connections. Often times bad connection at the cluster harness can cause your problem. If not, then I would take it a step further and test the gauge on the bench. I do cluster work all the time so this should be not too bad of a job for you.
