Hi all,

I need to simulate the design proposed in the article below
HTML:
http://electronicdesign.com/Articles/Index.cfm?AD=1&AD=1&ArticleID=6199

The things which i have changed is the direct control of the A2 output will be replacing the output from the microcontroller and the signal to the base of the transistor Q3 will be inverted with the input of the A2 signal point. This is because i have make the DC motor running via microcontroller with the fixed speed.

But as proposed in the circuit operation, how can i check that the voltages at the input of the motor remains the contanst even though their is change in its speed. i.e, what would happen to the current or the voltage when the motor speed either increases or decreses??

I supposed that the resistance should incease when their is speed decreses in the motor(due to the load), the current will incease making the voltage fall since the armeture resistance of the motor is fixed. Now the circuit should sense the change in voltage and thus compensate the voltages.

Is this correct?? or can anybody pass on me the circuit of the constant voltage to maintained on the motor??

Thanks and Regards
Vikas

Hi Vikas,

Did you ever get a resistance to model the motor? I'm using LTSpice to simulate my design... what simulator are you using?

Thanks,
