Hi all i recently done my first engine conversion ( mk4 escort xr3i cab mfi k jetronic to ke jetronic rs turbo ) and i am now onto the loom , its 90% wired up but when i hook the battery up my cold start valve ( csv - 5th injector ) clicks like mad , i dont even have the ignition on. Use a multimeter to check if the CSV is receiving constant power. With the battery connected but ignition off, there should be no voltage at the CSV connector.

Thanks that's a good start , I have 12v running to it. I think I have wired the starter motor wrong way , battery constant live to starter then comes back out and goes to a solder that's connected to my csv. Il try it tomorrow Thanks again for the help
