Communication Technologies

I need some help guys.. I want to do a project in the area of "Communication Technologies". I am not very upto date with the Communin Field, though I have some work with WSN's. Well I want to do a project so I need some ideas from u guys..
Maybe build something with a PIC or something .. :wink:

Well the cutting edge of some of the communications research is being done in MIMO technology. The use of multiple antenna arrays to transmit information. The new 802.11 standard called N, will be out shortly and that is going to use MIMO technology.
