Hi, i want to be able to read from a compact flash card but couldn't find any docs about how to dos this on google. Do any of you know where i could find some docs?

The electrical specs are similar to the "ATA" hard-drive interface. The software is tied to the FAT file system.

Search for MP3 player projects on google...loads of them use CF cards and IDE drives etc, most of these sites have the source code and explanations for PIC's and AVR's etc

I just realised that the free MikroBasic package has CF card reading example code bundled with it...
Maybe it'll help you understand things a little better...
