Hi all. I have a project in which I'm using some SI2302CDS-T1-GE3 N channel mosfets. They are quite pricey though and I decided to have a look for alternatives. I have found some TSM2314CX and they are about 1/4 of the price.

The pinout is the same but I'm not great on specs so could someone please confirm that they should function the same? The cheaper part even seems to be able to handle more current which is a bonus :)

Thanks

If they have different specs then they won't function the same in all respects. What particular properties are important to you? Voltage rating, Rds(on), peak current, average current, gate capacitance, operating frequency......?

Thanks for the replies.

I'm using them for driving 12v LED strips via PWM. I won't be drawing more than 2A but it is nice to have the headroom, and I guess fast switching would be good.

I guess they should be OK. I'm not really sure about the other parameters you mention but I will do some research, will probably get a couple to test in the meantime.

Thanks
