Hey Everyone,
I have this hard drive torn apart. So, I just wanted to experiement and get it to spin the motor constantly. My PCB looks exactly like this guys PCB:

**broken link removed**

except mine is totally intact. The top right IC is a SMOOTH L6283 1.3, it drives the motor.

What could I do to:

1.) Get the motor running constantly (right now it just speeds up then slows down and stops). I read that you could ground some wires to trick the PCB into making it run constantly? How do you know which wires to ground?

2.) For the future, control the speed of the motor
