Converting a power supply...

Because i'm so broke, i'm attempting to convert an older ASTEC AA20360, 110 watt power supply so i can run all of my digital lab experiments without having to be on my campus. Anyone ever done anything like this? Here's my problem... I have no idea how to turn the damn thing on... I can't locate a single data sheet to assist me...

All i really need to know is how or by which leads the motherboard turns the power supply on. Thanks guys!

Try ATX power supply

Get yourself ATX PS and solve problem! Or you yust like to do something for sake of itself

Even if data sheets could be traced,(that itself is difficult, as no manufacturer parts with their literature of design data and schematics), perhaps there may be need for replacing some parts that might have failed-again back to few bucks>)
Perhaps alldatasheet.com could be useful in searching for datasheets you need.

Try shorting the green and black wires. Green is *usually* the one going to the computer power switch.
