I managed to get myself some GT313V Germanium Transistors but beyond the easy to find information on them which is as follows:

VLA
GT313V
Ge
pnp
100mW
15V
15V
-
30mA
70>C
350MHz
2.5
30/170
CSI
X67
D

Does anyone know anything such as the pin out (E.G. What pin is which) of these things or what VLA means?

Thanks in advance, Dawn.

They look like fairly standard little germanium transistors, but what are you wanting to use them for?.

No idea what VLA means though.

GT313V
It is a metal case transistor. The Collector is connected to the case. If you use an ohm meter you should be able to find the Base. (diodes pointing toward the base) The last lead is the Emitter.

Well I have a book of very old transistor circuits that call for Germanium Transistors, I was really hoping I could use the GT313V Germanium's to see how some of these circuits worked without having to alter them for use with modern transistors.

Call me kinda odd but I enjoy tinkering with the older (simpler) circuits.

Dawn.
