hello

i have problem with transformator wires size.

i Intention make a 12 volt dc transformator.

my plan:
supply: 12 volt DC 5 Amper
transformator: 12 volt in 5A ---- 24 volt out 2.5A

my out voltage from dc supply in per minute 1900 or 2100 load.on and off.

please help me to make a transformator

what size wire i use for first coil?
what size wire i use for secondry coil ?
what turn i use for first and secondry coil?

thank you for helping me

hi,
first of all a transformer is not a DC device , it is an AC device. You cant build a transformer to supplu it a DC current.

Maybe he wants to make a power oscillator that uses 12VDC and drives a stepup transformer. The output is 24VAC or 24VDC but his Engrish is so bad that we don't know what he is talking about.

Not sure what a transformator is? If you are talking about a transformer, they are AC in and out? What is your input and output. DC in will not work.

Here is info one winding transformers if that is what you are after, but you need AC in, or will need a DC to DC converter if you want to go 12 to 24 volts..

How to build a transformer or inductor - a great resource for How To's from Wikia

A quote from this great resource; "Winding a ferrite core is very easy. You just need to wrap the wire around your penis"
