Hey everyone I need help designing a filter. I need to design a lowpass filter using an op amp that will decrease a 550Khz signal by a factor of 0.0001 of its original value. But I need the filter to pass the frequencies from 0.05- 150 Hz.
I thought of using the transfer function T(w)= 1/ (1+jWRC)
W-frequency in rad/sec
then find a resistor and capacitor that make that 55 at 550Khz. But I need to corner frequency to be above 150 Hz and the its not if I do that. Can anyone help.
I think I need to set my corner frequency to 150 Hz then go from there. But im not sure. Thanks!
