Disdrometer

Problems:
The signal output from a piezoelectric disdrometer generates pretty fast; as fast as hearing a raindrop. So translating it via an ADC, and transmitting it would be a problem in terms of processing speed.
Any suggestions?

It is not a problem in terms of processing speed with any PIC ever made.

Try some real numbers.
