By using a microprocessor like a pic, is it possible to know the distance between both RF receiver and emitter ?

Thanks!

Speed of light is about a foot per nanosecond. Can the PIC you have in mind measure time to within plus or minus 500 picoseconds? If so then it is possible, if not well...Quelle domage.

Wow! i see :p
Is there another solution (cheap) ?

We need more information.

What range do you need?

What accuracy do you need?

What are your power limitations?

What are your size limitations?

If you want something you can put in your pocket I don't think it will come easy or cheap.

- Range about 1000 to 1500 feet or a bit more
- Accuracy in 20 feet or less
- 9 volts battery
- Yes, pocket size. (ex: iPod nano)
- Outdoors (indoors if possible)

Thanks.

1500' Indoors from 9VDC, the size of an iPod nano...
I think you've got the time machine working there and you've come to give us a hoy hoy. =p
