Hi,
I've just acquired 40 of these, in some mis-labelled RS bags - they were supposed to be TO-92 transistors!

They are no use at all to me, so free for the cost of postage. ST manufactured MC33078D (or DT)?

(I've already informed RS of the error, they don't want them returning).

I will happily take a bag (10 ?).

RS are like that, for small low value items, they just write-off these errors.
Presumably it is too much hassle to re-stock.

Hi Jim,
no problem, you are welcome to the lot if you want?

Or give it over the weekend to see if anyone else needs some & split them?

I have no need for the whole lot, and I would feel happier if others could share your largesse, so lets wait a few days and see what happens.

Their ISO9001 certification likely doesn't allow them to resell any item that left their control. No way to know how the parts were handled, stored, contaminated, ...

They are also obsolete.

Yes, but to be clear there is no way of knowing from the markings if they are the ones that cost about 15p each, or the ones that cost over £1 each (both at RS) due to the wrong RS part number on the packs.

If they are the cheaper ones, postage would be more than the ICs are worth.....
