D dr peppers New Member Mar 19, 2012 #4 You can use proper driver Ic's, but if you do PCB layout is critical, I had trouble last time I tried to use one, in the end I used a pair of transistors to drive the gate, worked well. Do you need rapid turn on and rapid turn off?
