Wanted to build a small desalination plant... I thought Electrodialysis as one option (over reverse osmosis ?).
Can anyone share their experiences on this ....
I have a simple circuit in mind... A DC voltage applied between 2 parallel plates across the chamber...
The DC voltage is the trivial part. The trick is getting ahold of the membrane, that's where the technology is. Same for reverse osmosis, but RO is probably going to be easier to find. I did a brief check and RO and Multi Stage Flash are the 2 processes in wide use.
