Roff Well-Known Member Mar 9, 2004 #2 74c922 is not an adder, it's a keyboard encoder. Which do you need?
S sparky_1471 New Member Mar 9, 2004 #3 i need the keyboard encoader, what is the alternative i can use?
J Johnson777717 New Member Mar 9, 2004 #4 I'm not sure if this is going to help or not but NTE makes this IC "NTE74C922" and Fairchild Semiconductor makes this IC "MM74C922" I don't see any listed alternates in IC Master.

Click to expand... A 4035 is only 29 pence from Maplin! - it's hardly going to break the bank!. If the school won't pay for it, have a few less chips for dinner and buy your own
