What's the difference between Consumer, Automotive and Space Qualified parts?

Usually, the willingness for the component manufacturer's customer to agree in very specific terms, that they will and can accept all liability in case of a failure or malfunction and a someone gets hurt.

Similar for life-supporting medical or safety devices.

That's why a commercial part costs $0.50 and a space qualified part costs $5.00 (or more)
