Hi,
Have a W10 PC v 1909 using a little usb BT dongle.
Been able to commuticate with the PC and Putty / TerraTerm, from an Uno via a HC06 BT board ok and also direct to the Mobile phone.
Now testing the ESP32 board (38pin type) and running the standard BT example the PC asks for a Pin number which the example is not geared up for ?
Instead run the ESP BTM , bluetooth master, example and it does use a pin number and pairs ok.
Once paired looking in device manager to see what serial port the connection has been assigned to, only shows up as RFCOMM ?
Nothing different if I open up the Properties windows, its still only shows RFCOMM.
Looking on the web, folk say it does show the serial port assigned, but perhaps that was earlier versions of Windows or we have missed something?
Using the standard ESP32 BT example, but no pairing info .
Using the ESP32 BTM example - pairs ok with the default 1234 pin
Unable to find any Serail Port reference
TeraTerm only shows the Existing ArduinoIDE ports
