Noobie Question!

I just got a UV lamp I need for Uv glue curing but the plug is European, I live in Mexico and I dont know if I have to return the lamp or an adaptor will do the trick

I’ll put the link where I bought the product, some specifications and photos.

I dont know enough electronics to give technical details, posting here ans reasing your answers is helping me learn little by little, thanks a lot!

(Product, from page I bought it from)

(The product information in the link doesnt have much information at all, only says “220V” but I didnt know it would be European Plug)

My question is this: if I get a European - Mexican plug adapter and I connect the 300w 220V lamp to my 110V current house (norm in Mexico) will it still work?

I dont mind if its less powerful, less energy consumption would be nice haha

Thanks for any help! Wonderful day to all

It probably won't work but it maybe worth at try as lower voltage won't hurt.

Also, a 110 V version is available and changing between the two voltages may be easy. Can you open it up and post photos?

I asked the seller if it would work or if he has 110v version (didnt find it) so I wont open it until I can verify.

Will get an adapter for testing purposes (so we can all learn about it) but Im not ready to open it.

If it works with the adapter I will open it to learn from it

Will update once I get msg from the seller
