I am newbie here and i wish to know this from you folks.
I need to turn on the alarm when there is a fire inside the room.
So, i need to use fire sensor or smoke sensor ?
Can you guys give me the sensor part number?

smoke sensor.
i don't think there is a fire sensor.
and you don't have to use a pic you can simple just use a flip-flop to respond and make a buzzer or a relay work once the smoke sensor is working
