Floppy drive interfacing

may i ask...why? floppy is dead.
long live flash and specially serial versions like SD...
are you looking just for pinout (easy to find on web) or addressing?

Sir,
I need to store data from a remote location and floppy seems to be the easiest (not for me) and cheapest data storage available.

Floppy isn't practical, it's requirements are too great for a micro-controller, forget that idea and use flash memory cards (of some type), there are plenty of examples on the net.
